• Application for a Karteikartenabschrift (copy of the driving license file record) Please submit the application online where possible. Alternatively, you may also submit an informal application in writing, by post or e-mail, together with the required documents. • For online applications: please have all required documents and proof ready for upload in PDF, JPG or PNG format. • Note for Berlin residents whose driving license was issued in Berlin: separate services exist for reporting a lost driving license or for exchanging one (see "Further information" for more).
