Requirements

• Appearing in person is required in every case
• For persons under 16 years of age

Documents you need
• 1 current biometric passport photo (new rule effective 01.05.2025)
• Biometric passport photos may now only be produced digitally directly at the authority (LABO) or at certified photo studios (see "Further information").
