Educational qualifications from other federal states - Recognition

• Requirements The requirement is the submission of verifiable school records (Nachweise), These regularly include, among others, all forms of school-leaving certificates, annual school reports, individual examination certificates such as university entrance examinations, university degrees with certificates of academic achievement, academic certificates, internship certificates, work record books, etc.

• Required documents see above CV and copies of identity documents, if applicable with proof of the residence permit

€50.00 for the assessment of foreign general education qualifications, €50.00 for the assessment of foreign vocational qualifications €40.00 for the assessment of domestic qualifications

• Section 61 SchulG (Berlin School Act) in conjunction with the school-law provisions of the State of Berlin and the binding assessment guidelines of the Zentralstelle für ausländisches Bildungswesen (Central Office for Foreign Education).

Weeks to several months (in some cases up to years) depending on the difficulty of the assessment procedure
