Costs are incurred according to the Vergütungsordnung der Öffentlich bestellten Vermessungsingenieure (ÖbVIVergO, fee schedule for publicly appointed surveying engineers) for carrying out the boundary survey. In addition, fees are charged according to the Vermessungsgebührenordnung (VermGebO, surveying fee regulation) for incorporating the results of the boundary survey into the Liegenschaftskataster (real property cadastre). The amount depends on the circumstances of the individual case.
