Property – certify application for merger with simultaneous consolidation of parcels (Flurstücksverschmelzung)

• Eligibility to apply • The application is submitted by the owner or a person authorized by the owner (a certified power of attorney is required). This also includes the application for merger (Verschmelzung). • An application for merger (Vereinigungsantrag) can also be submitted by the future owners; however, the merger of the properties can then only be carried out in the land register (Grundbuch) after they themselves have been entered in the land register as owners. • The properties to be merged form a local and economic unit service.berlin.de/dienstleistung/324705/ • The properties are not encumbered in Section III (Abteilung III) of the land register, or are encumbered equally. • Appointment (Termin) scheduling for certification of the signature The signature on the merger application must be officially certified by the competent surveying office (Vermessungsamt) or by a notary's office. The following must be observed for certification of the signature at the competent surveying office: • To arrange an appointment for certification of the signature on the merger application, an appointment will be arranged with all parties involved by telephone or e-mail after the application has been submitted. • Certification of a signature is only possible in person.

• Application for certification of the signature on an association application (Vereinigungsantrag) Possible online, or you may submit an informal written application by post. • For the online application: the total size of your files must not exceed 30 MB. A single file may be no larger than 5 MB. Files may be uploaded in the permitted formats JPG, JPEG, PNG and PDF. • After submitting the application, an appointment (Termin) will be arranged with you for certification of the signature(s) on the application. • Official photo ID for all applicants • Details of the property / parcels of land (Flurstücke) • Proof of authorisation, if applicable • Current commercial register (Handelsregister) extract, for companies • Current register of associations (Vereinsregister) extract, for associations • Publicly certified power of attorney, if represented by another person, where applicable
