• Application for the promotion of career advancement training (Meister-BAföG) You can submit the application either online, or use the forms and submit the application in writing by post. • In addition to the application, there are many other application forms/forms for establishing eligibility that you must fill out (providing evidence of your personal and financial circumstances). • Proof of identity Valid personal identification documents, if applicable a Meldebestätigung (registration confirmation) • Proof of residence status for non-Germans • Form: Information on the income and assets of the applicant (Annex 1, Form A) (only for full-time measures) • Income: declaration and, if applicable, evidence of the expected income situation during the approval period. • Assets: for example, for capital-forming insurance policies (life insurance, home savings insurance [Bausparversicherung], Riester pension contracts, death benefit insurance, funeral provision, and similar), savings accounts, land, real estate, valuables, motor vehicles • Form: Declaration of the spouse/registered civil partner (Annex 2, Form A) (only for full-time measures) Proof of income for the calendar year before last (for example, tax assessment notice [Steuerbescheid], if applicable an electronic income tax statement [elektronische Lohnsteuerbescheinigung], benefits notice, pension notice) • Birth certificates of your own children (only for full-time measures) • Depending on the specific individual case, further documents may be required.
