Issue a duplicate copy (Approbation [license to practise] or certificate of a state examination in a health profession)

If the original of • your Approbationsurkunde (certificate of licensure to practice), • your certificate of a state examination, or • your permit to use the professional title in the allied health professions has been destroyed or lost, a certified duplicate can be issued. Upon issuance of the duplicate, the original certificate is declared invalid. If the original is found again later, it must be returned to the Landesamt für Gesundheit und Soziales Berlin (State Office for Health and Social Affairs Berlin).
