Permitted file size: 10 MB per file, 80 MB in total; maximum file name length: 90 characters. • The longer processing time for informal written applications by email or post may result in an increased administrative fee. • Information on persons involved in the project • Name and address of the applicant (person placing the order) • Name and address of the person carrying out the project (commissioned by the person placing the order), and, if applicable, power of attorney for submitting the application • Contact details of the responsible person on site who can be reached at all times during the applied-for project. • Details on the type of project • Information on the location of the project (address) • Date/period of the project • Name and brief description of the project • Description of the location (e.g. distance to the nearest residential development) • Justification of the necessity of the project Briefly explain why the project is necessary and should take precedence over the standard noise protection for residents (for projects at nighttime or on Sundays and public holidays). • Organizational details Statements on the extent of the expected noise disturbance, e.g. regarding • Number of participants, arrangements for the required setup and dismantling work, delivery traffic, timing, duration, and volume of any sound checks for outdoor music events, arrangement and output of loudspeakers, expected impact on the nearest residents. • In special cases, submission of further documents such as site plans, sketches of stage locations, or similar may become necessary. • Technical details List of the possible technical noise sources and their arrangement, as well as details of the type, manufacturer, device number, and year of manufacture of the machines and equipment used. • Description of the intended noise protection measures For example, use of low-noise generators / devices / machines, use of headsets / walkie-talkies, enclosure of equipment • if applicable, proof of an existing fee exemption gesetze.berlin.de/perma?j=UmwGebV_BE_!_2

• 400,00 to 7.000,00 euros: for large public outdoor events • 100,00 to 1.500,00 euros: for other public outdoor events • 130,00 to 2.135,00 euros: for projects for commercial purposes • 50,00 to 425,00 euros: for other projects • 25% of the fee for the underlying permit, but at least 110 euros: for minor changes • 50% of the fee for the underlying permit, but at least 110 euros: for substantial changes These figures are examples; for further details and binding fee ranges, please refer to the applicable Umweltschutzgebührenordnung (Environmental Protection Fees Regulation). Certain applicants are exempt from the fees. Exemption from the fee obligation must be proven.
