The fee is based on the Gebührenordnung für Maßnahmen im Straßenverkehr (fee schedule for road traffic measures) in its respective current version, and the amount depends on the type of registration (Zulassung) concerned. For a change to the intended use of the vehicle after registration has already taken place, the fee is EUR 12.60. Producing the license plates is not a service provided by the Kfz-Zulassungsbehörde Berlin (Berlin vehicle registration authority). No information can be given about separately incurred costs.
