• Election campaign advertising (Wahlwerbung) is only put up on permitted surfaces • Displaying election campaign advertising is not permitted on lamp posts with traffic signs, on gas-powered lighting, on traffic light systems, on traffic safety barriers, or on trees. • Individual districts (Bezirke) may have their own regulations regarding the attachment of election campaign advertising to trees. Please check with the relevant district before putting up advertising (e.g. on trees) whether a special regulation applies there. • General consideration for election campaign advertising on lamp posts Only every second lamp post should be used, so that all election campaigners get a chance. Other contractually approved advertising on the lamp posts must not be impaired. • You must comply with the requirements for putting up election campaign advertising on public lighting masts www.berlin.de/sen/uvk/mobilitaet-und-verkehr/infrastruktur/o • The election campaigner bears the costs of the election campaign advertising The costs of producing, putting up, and removing the election posters are borne solely by the election campaigner. • Period: from no earlier than 7 weeks before the election to no later than 1 week after election day
