The company DSM Deutsche Städte Medien GmbH holds, on the basis of contractual agreements with the State of Berlin, the special use permits (Sondernutzungserlaubnisse) required for the majority of the existing clock candelabra locations in the State of Berlin. At the same time, it also holds the right to exploit the possibilities for permanent advertising on the clocks it operates (advertising right).
