Severe disability - paying the personal contribution for the special transport service

You pay a personal contribution (Eigenbeteiligung) for every trip with WirMobil. You receive the monthly statement of the personal contribution from the Landesamt für Gesundheit und Soziales (State Office for Health and Social Affairs). You will receive an overview of the costs: • for trips carried out, • for cancellation fees incurred, and • for taking along more than one companion. One companion is already included in the personal contribution. Reduction A reduced personal contribution is paid by recipients of Sozialhilfe (social assistance, SGB XII), Grundsicherung (basic income support, SGB XII) and benefits under SGB II (Bürgergeld, citizen's income). Exemption No personal contribution is paid by residents of care homes who receive a Barbetrag (Taschengeld, pocket money allowance) from the social welfare provider. They will receive a statement of: • cancellation fees incurred, • costs for taking along more than one companion. A reduction or exemption from the personal contribution is not possible retroactively. If you do not agree with the monthly statement, notify the LAGeSo (Landesamt für Gesundheit und Soziales) in writing. Wait for the result of the review before paying. If the personal contribution has still not been paid after the second reminder, the beneficiary number (Berechtigten-Nummer) will be blocked. The beneficiary is excluded from using the transport service. Once the personal contribution has been paid in full, the transport service can be used again.
