Winter road clearance on pavements - apply for exemption due to incapacity

• Physical and economic incapacity Residents (Anlieger) must be physically and economically unable to carry out the winter service (snow and ice clearance). Both conditions must be present at the same time.

• Application for exemption from winter maintenance duty (Winterdienst) due to incapacity An informal written application must be submitted by the adjoining resident (Anlieger). The application can also be submitted by email. • The application must be submitted anew every year. • Proof of physical incapacity (in copy) Copy of the severely disabled person's ID card (Schwerbehindertenausweis) (e.g. aG, H, Bl) and/or medical certificates • Proof of economic incapacity (in copy) Proof of income, such as copies of the most recent pension, basic income support (Grundsicherung), or tax assessment notices, other income and earnings, information on assets. Evidence/copies of the annual statements of costs for energy, electricity, gas, coal, water, chimney sweep, street cleaning, refuse collection, property tax (Grundsteuer), building insurance
