Building permit - case status inquiry

You have the option of checking the current processing status of your applications in building permit procedures, independent of office hours, via the information module of the "Elektronisches Bau- und Genehmigungsverfahren (eBG)" (Electronic Building and Approval Procedure). Your access details are: • the responsible district (Bezirk) • the file reference number (Aktenzeichen) • the PIN You receive the file reference number and the corresponding PIN together with the confirmation of receipt for your application/request from the building supervisory authority (Bauaufsichtsbehörde). Through this service you will only receive information on your own procedures. Since the eBG procedure is used by all Berlin building supervisory authorities, the electronic status inquiry works for procedures in all Berlin districts. The electronic status inquiry is available for applications in the following procedures: • building permit procedures (Baugenehmigungsverfahren) • simplified building permit procedures • submissions under exemption from permit requirement (Genehmigungsfreistellung) • supplements to building permits • extensions of building permits • objection procedures (Widerspruchsverfahren) • building encumbrance procedures (Baulastenverfahren) • deficiency notices (Mängelanzeigen) • fire protection inspections
