You will receive the original and a copy of the „Auszahlungsauftrag" after giving your witness testimony or after being released from the appointment. • The "Auszahlungsauftrag" must be signed by the court or by the Staats- oder Amtsanwaltschaft (public prosecutor's office). • Proof of travel costs incurred or other expenses Please provide proof of the travel costs incurred for your journey to and from the appointment by means of appropriate receipts (e. g. original tickets, booking confirmations, flight ticket invoices, accommodation costs). • Certificate of loss of earnings Have you suffered a loss of earnings? If so, please have this certified by your employer. You have already received the form for a certificate of loss of earnings as an attachment to your summons. • Proof of self-employment Are you self-employed? If so, please enclose appropriate proof of your self-employment (e. g. Gewerbeschein, trade licence) and state your average monthly gross income from self-employed work as well as your regular working hours. • Credible demonstration of freelance activity Are you working on a freelance basis? Please substantiate your freelance activity with suitable documents. Please also state your average monthly income from freelance work and your regular working hours.
