Debtors' register - Information

• Reasons for inspection You may only access the Schuldnerverzeichnis (register of debtors) online for the following reasons: • for purposes of enforcement (compulsory execution), • to fulfil statutory obligations to check economic reliability, • to check the requirements for the granting of public benefits, • to avert economic disadvantages that may arise from persons failing to meet their payment obligations, • insofar as this is necessary for the prosecution of criminal offences and the enforcement of sentences, • to obtain information about entries concerning yourself. • Use of the information You may only use the information for the purpose for which you obtained it. Passing it on to third parties is not permitted. • Deletion of the information You must delete the information once the purpose has been achieved. • Logging of the provision of information The online system logs and stores your query, including your personal data, for a period of 6 months.

• Registration www.vollstreckungsportal.de/zponf/allg/willkommen.jsf If you have not yet registered, click the heading "Registrierung" (Registration) to register. • Registration with an identity card (Personalausweis) with eID function If you have an identity card (Personalausweis) with the online identification function (eID), select the button "Registrieren mit neuem Personalausweis" (Register with new identity card). You will then be directed to the AusweisApp, which opens in a separate window. Please follow the instructions shown there. • Registration without an identity card (Personalausweis) with eID function Select the button "Registrierung Auskunft" (Registration information). Fill in the required fields there. Registration is completed by clicking the "Speichern" (Save) button. To confirm your registration, you will receive an e-mail that also explains the further procedure. • Activation and first inspection www.vollstreckungsportal.de/auskunft/allg/freischalten.jsf After successful registration, you will receive the activation number (PIN) in writing by post. With this you can access the Schuldnerverzeichnis (register of debtors) for the first time. • Later inspections www.vollstreckungsportal.de/zponf/allg/willkommen.jsf Once you have been activated and have carried out the first inspection, select the button "Anmeldung Öffentlichkeit" (Public login) for all later inspections, and then the button "Anmelden" (Log in).

A fee of 4.50 euros is charged per data record transmitted; a fee of 4.50 euros also applies for the information "no data available". A self-disclosure (Selbstauskunft) is free of charge.

The courts themselves do not provide information about the entries. Persons without their own internet access can also carry out the registration and — after receiving the PIN by post — the inspection in person at any Amtsgericht (local court) acting as the Vollstreckungsgericht (enforcement court).
