Combining several incomes of the debtor

• Multiple sources of income of the debtor are garnished or are to be garnished The debtor receives multiple sources of income, and these have been garnished by you or are to be (simultaneously) garnished. The type of income involved is immaterial. It is possible both to combine several sources of employment income, and to combine employment income with social benefits, as well as employment income with benefits in kind.

• Written application for the combination of the debtor's incomes The application can also be submitted for the record at the registry (Geschäftsstelle) of the Rechtsantragsstelle (legal application office) of the court during its office hours. • Proof that the debtor's income has been garnished If the garnishment of the debtor's income has already taken place, the corresponding Pfändungs- und Überweisungsbeschluss (garnishment and transfer order(s)) must be submitted. • Personalausweis (identity card) or Reisepass (passport) with Meldebescheinigung (registration certificate) • Proof of the requirements for combining the incomes Proof must be submitted of the existence of multiple incomes, if applicable the taking effect of a garnishment already carried out on one of the incomes, the amount of the incomes, and also their permanence.
