• You operate a water supply facility or non-potable water facility in Berlin • Central water supply facility • Decentralized water supply facility • Private water supply facility (Eigenwasserversorgungsanlage) • Mobile water supply facility • Building water supply facility • Temporary water supply facility • Deadline for notifying construction, commissioning, or modification: at least 4 weeks in advance • Construction of a water supply facility providing drinking water • Construction of the non-potable water facility • Initial commissioning or recommissioning of a water supply facility • Structural or operational modification to drinking-water-carrying parts of a water supply facility that may have a significant effect on the quality of the drinking water • Transfer of ownership or the right of use of the water supply facility to another person • Deadline for notifying decommissioning: within 3 days • Decommissioning of a water supply facility or of parts of a water supply facility • Decommissioning of a non-potable water facility • Deadline for notification in the case of temporary water supply facilities: without delay upon becoming aware Construction or commissioning and the expected duration • For the online notification (optional): registration/sign-up via BundID (federal citizen ID account) or Mein Unternehmenskonto (MUK) [My Business Account] • For the online notification (optional): activated online ID function (eID) (recommended) or an Elster certificate service.berlin.de/dienstleistung/329833/ To register with BundID using the "online ID card" option, you need: • your electronic identity card (Personalausweis), the Union citizen's card (eID card), or the electronic residence permit (eAT), each with the online ID function (eID) activated, and your PIN, • an external card reader or a modern, NFC-enabled smartphone with an Android or iOS operating system, • the "AusweisApp" software As a legal entity, you need an Elster certificate to register via Mein Unternehmenskonto (MUK).

• Notification of the (re)commissioning, construction, decommissioning, or transfer of ownership of a water supply facility or non-drinking-water facility You can submit the notification online, or use the form and submit the notification in writing by post. • All operators of water supply facilities must, on request, submit certain documents about the water supply facility to the Gesundheitsamt (public health office).
