Requirements
• Commissioning with a translation
You must have been commissioned by the court to translate a document. You must also have carried out this work within the scope of your commission.
• Timely billing or application
Your claim to remuneration generally lapses if it is not asserted with the court that commissioned you within a period of three months.
The period begins when your translation is received by the body that commissioned you.
If your commission ends prematurely, the period begins as soon as you are notified of the premature termination.
