• Commissioning of a commercial installation with non-ionising radiation for cosmetic purposes This concerns, for example, an installation for: • Applications for cosmetic purposes on humans • Applications on humans that do not serve a medical purpose • Applications on humans that are attributed to "lifestyle/sport", e.g. muscle stimulation, such as assisted training using EMF (electromagnetic fields) or similar. • Expertise (Fachkunde) Persons who use non-ionising radiation sources require sufficient qualification (Fachkunde [specialist expertise]). • Physician with special further training, if applicable Special applications with non-ionising radiation sources may only be carried out by physicians with certain further training, e.g. the removal of tattoos. • Notification 14 days before commissioning The operator must notify the responsible authority of the operation of the installation at least two weeks before commissioning.
