Vaccination injury - apply for compensation for victims of vaccination injuries

An Impfschaden (vaccination injury) is a health impairment that arose as a reaction to a publicly recommended Schutzimpfung (vaccination). The health impairment must still be present 6 months after the vaccination. For the health-related and economic consequences, you can receive benefits under the Infektionsschutzgesetz (Infection Protection Act, IfSG). This also applies to the Covid-19 vaccines approved in Germany. The following benefits are possible: • Heilbehandlung (medical treatment) (medical rehabilitation, assumption of costs for an inpatient stay, orthopedic aids, health cures) • Pension payments depending on the severity of the health impairment caused by the vaccination • Hinterbliebenenversorgung (survivors' benefits) (widow's, widower's, orphan's and parents' pension) • Bestattungs- und Sterbegeld (funeral and death grant) If the previous occupation can, as a result of the vaccination injury, only be carried out to a limited extent or no longer at all, • Benefits for participation in working life (e.g. retraining) • Benefits to compensate for the economic consequences (e.g. Berufsschadensausgleich (occupational damage compensation)) may be granted.
