Granting of temporary protection status for refugees from Ukraine - allocation decision (Zuweisungsentscheidung) upon referral by the LEA (Landesamt für Einwanderung, State Office for Immigration)

• You belong to the group of people named below and had your habitual residence in Ukraine before 24 February 2022 • Ukrainian nationals, • or: stateless persons and nationals who come neither from an EU/EEA state nor from Ukraine and who enjoyed international protection or equivalent national protection in Ukraine, • or: family members of Ukrainians or of persons who received protection in Ukraine • or: stateless persons and nationals who come neither from an EU/EEA state nor from Ukraine and who can prove that they resided lawfully and long-term in Ukraine on the basis of a residence permit (Aufenthaltstitel) issued under Ukrainian law, and who are unable to return safely and permanently to their country or region of origin • You have received an email invitation from the LAF (State Office for Refugee Affairs) for an appointment (Termin) for a personal interview • Negative COVID-19 rapid test (no more than 24 hours old) (if available) You can also take a COVID-19 rapid test on site

• Valid document proving your identity • Valid passport or passport substitute • Ukrainian Personalausweis (identity card) • If you have neither a passport, passport substitute, nor Ukrainian identity card: a certificate issued by the Ukrainian embassy confirming the clarification of your identity • Your Ukrainian Aufenthaltstitel (residence permit) (if you do not hold Ukrainian citizenship) • Proof of your accommodation in Berlin (if available) With this you can prove a family tie to Berlin or a special connection to Berlin: • Meldebestätigung (registration confirmation) from the Bürgeramt (citizens' office) of your district of residence (under "Further information") or • a rental agreement for housing in Berlin or • confirmation of permanent provision of accommodation for Ukrainian refugees (under "Forms"). • Your luggage (if available) In case of onward travel to other federal states after the allocation decision, you should bring your luggage with you.
