After the vehicle inspection has taken place, you will receive proof of identification, which must be presented for registration. No fees apply for this. • the main residence, registered office, branch, or service post is located in Berlin • E-bike/pedelec with rated power greater than 0.25 kW or a motor when registering an e-bike/pedelec, it must have a rated power greater than 0.25 kW (250 watts) or have a motor that also operates at a speed of more than 25 km/h, in order for it to be classified as a moped (Kleinkraftrad)

The fee is based on the Gebührenordnung für Maßnahmen im Straßenverkehr (fee schedule for road traffic measures), as amended, and amounts, in the most favorable case, to EUR 30.50. Please note that this fee may be higher depending on the individual case - this depends on the specific application submitted. The production of the license plates is not a service provided by the Kfz-Zulassungsbehörde Berlin (Berlin vehicle registration authority). No information can be given about any separately incurred costs.
