Change resident parking permit

• You are the holder of your parking permit and there is a change • new vehicle license plate • Change of registered keeper (vehicle change) • Change of residence/move to another parking zone (not yet possible online) • Return of your previously valid Bewohnerparkausweis (resident parking permit) (upon request) • You remain a resident at the same address in a Parkraumbewirtschaftungszone (parking management zone) • You are the registered keeper of the new motor vehicle or demonstrably use it permanently, or, in the case of a change of the license plate, the previous conditions remain unchanged This also applies to rental cars. • For the online application: consent to the electronic payment procedure Pay electronically directly in the online procedure by credit card (Visa, Mastercard).

• Application to change a resident parking permit You can submit the application online, alternatively in writing by post or, in exceptional cases, in person at the district Bürgerämter (citizens' offices) of the parking zone. • If applying online: Please have all required documents and evidence ready for upload in PDF, JPG, PNG, GIF or BMP format. A single file may be no larger than 5 MB. • If applying in writing by post: A signature on the application is mandatory! Please do not send cash or crossed cheques. You will receive a Gebührenbescheid (fee notice) with a request for payment. • If applying in person on site: A signature on the application is mandatory! An appointment (Termin) on site is currently only possible in exceptional cases, following prior arrangement with the districts. In that case, bring the application form, filled in and signed in advance, to the appointment. • Parking permit number • Zulassungsbescheinigung Teil 1 (vehicle registration certificate part 1, in copy) A copy of the fully unfolded front side of the Zulassungsbescheinigung Teil 1 ("Fahrzeugschein"/vehicle registration document) is required. It must show the name and address of the vehicle's registered keeper, the vehicle type, the technically permissible gross weight, and the official registration number (license plate) of the motor vehicle. • If applying in writing or in person: Proof of identity (in copy) • A copy of both sides of the Personalausweis (identity card) serves as proof of the registered address. • If a passport is used as proof of identity, or if the actual place of residence is not entered in the Personalausweis (e.g. in the case of a secondary residence), please submit or bring, in addition to the copy of the identity document, your consent to the authority's inspection of the Melderegister (register of residents) or, alternatively, a current Meldebescheinigung (registration certificate). • If represented by someone else: written power of attorney You only need a written power of attorney if you authorize someone else to change a resident parking permit on your behalf and to receive it. • Return of your previously valid resident parking permit Return your previously valid resident parking permit. If the still-valid old "Vignette" (sticker) is destroyed when removing it, return the remains. • Note on data protection All other non-relevant data, such as height, eye colour, passport photo, access number, further details about the motor vehicle, etc., may be rendered illegible in accordance with the Berliner Datenschutzgesetz (Berlin Data Protection Act).

Apply for the Bewohnerparkausweis (residents' parking permit) in the Bezirk (district) in which the Parkraumbewirtschaftungszone (parking management zone) is located. Exception: The Bezirksamt Mitte (Mitte district office) is responsible for the entire Flottwellstraße.
