Victims of violent crime - Counseling and support

You can receive advice and support if you have become the victim of a violent crime and are, as a result, severely affected in your everyday life. The services are free of charge and independent, and are aimed both at those affected themselves and at their relatives. The advice and support services include: • Information and support regarding possible entitlements under social security. These include, among others, pension, health, long-term care and unemployment insurance. • Help with submitting the correct applications, for example the application procedure under the Opferentschädigungsgesetz (Victims' Compensation Act, OEG). • Support in filling out the applications. • Information on which documents are required and why they are needed.
