Apply for funding for projects implementing internationalization strategies

The funding program "Förderung von KMU-Projekten" (Support for SME Projects) is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the Berlin clusters as well as the manufacturing sector, who are supported in implementing internationalization strategies. The SMEs must have their registered office or a business establishment (Betriebsstätte) in Berlin. The funding program covers the following areas Participation in trade fairs, exhibitions, congresses, cooperation exchanges, fashion shows, showrooms with a predominantly international and specialist focus, provided these are not predominantly used for direct sales. The own contribution (Eigenanteil) that you as a company must provide is always 50 percent of the funding amount (Fördersumme). Companies from the following sectors are eligible for funding: healthcare industry, energy technology, transport, mobility and logistics, ICT, media and creative industries, optics, as well as the manufacturing sector and production-related services. Procedure • Submit the application to the Investitionsbank Berlin (IBB, Berlin's investment bank). • The application is reviewed; if necessary, you will be contacted with follow-up questions.
