• Notified vocational programme at a supplementary school (angezeigter beruflicher Ergänzungsschulbildungsgang) gesetze.berlin.de/bsbe/document/jlr-SchulGBEV8P102 You have, for two years, been operating a vocational programme under § 102 of the Schulgesetz (School Act) that has already been notified to the Schulaufsichtsbehörde (school supervisory authority) • Comparability of the training with state school-based training gesetze.berlin.de/bsbe/document/jlr-SchulGBEV24P103 • The Schulaufsichtsbehörde (school supervisory authority) may grant an Ergänzungsschule (supplementary school) the status of a state-recognized supplementary school (staatlich anerkannte Ergänzungsschule) if there is a public interest in the vocational training it provides, if instruction is given according to a curriculum approved by the Schulaufsichtsbehörde in consultation with the members of the Senate responsible for the relevant subject area, and if the final examination is held in accordance with an approved Prüfungsordnung (examination regulations). • Recognition may only be granted if, in scope and requirements, the training is comparable to state school-based training, if the examination, as shown by the Prüfungsordnung (examination regulations), meets the requirements for an orderly examination procedure, and if the possibility of a representative of the Schulaufsichtsbehörde being present at the examination is ensured. A decision on recognition may be made no earlier than two years after the notified Ergänzungsschule opened.
