Hunting exam (Jägerprüfung) - Apply for admission to the exam

• Personal appearance You must appear in person for the examinations. • Note the registration deadline (Anmeldefrist) The application for admission to the Jägerprüfung (hunting examination) must be received in writing or electronically by the Jagdbehörde (hunting authority) by 15 January, or, if a second examination is held, by 15 July. • Payment of the examination fee (Gebühr) in advance • For online applications: activated online ID function (eID) (optional) service.berlin.de/dienstleistung/329833/ For this you need: • Your electronic Personalausweis (identity card), Unionsbürgerkarte (eID card for Union citizens), or electronic Aufenthaltstitel (residence permit) (eAT), each with the online ID function (eID) activated, and your PIN, • an external card reader or a modern, NFC-capable smartphone with an Android or iOS operating system, • the "AusweisApp" software

Application for admission to the (restricted) hunting examination (Jägerprüfung) You can submit the application either online, or you can use the form and submit the (paper) application in writing by post. • For online applications: Please have all required documents and proof ready to upload in PDF, JPG, JPEG or PNG format. The total size of your files must not exceed 30 MB. A single file may be a maximum of 5 MB. • Certificate of good conduct (Führungszeugnis) service.berlin.de/dienstleistung/120926/ not older than three months • Proof of payment of the examination fee to the Landeshauptkasse Berlin (Berlin State Treasury) • Proof of hunting liability insurance for the hunting weapons examination Only required for the hunting examination, not required for the restricted hunting examination. • For minors: written declaration of consent from the legal representative • For the restricted hunting examination: declaration Please attach, in addition to the documents, a declaration to your application stating that you wish to take part in the restricted hunting examination.
