For online applications: After the electronic application has been finally processed by the Kfz-Zulassungsbehörde (vehicle registration authority), you will receive a Zulassungsbescheid (registration decision). You will receive the documents by Zustellungsurkunde (certificate of service). Postal transit time is calculated at three days, so you can expect delivery within seven days of submitting your application. If the number of applications received is above average, a delay of 1–2 working days may occur. If you have not received delivery within 14 days at the latest, please contact the Kfz-Zulassungsbehörde (vehicle registration authority).
