If you want to use effects with pyrotechnic objects and pyrotechnic sets in theatres or similar facilities, you need a permit. You also require a licence for the use of explosive substances in film and television production facilities. Please note that you also require a licence from the authority responsible for fire protection and a permit from the operator/owner. Procedure • Apply for a permit for the use of pyrotechnic objects and sets in theatres and similar facilities as well as effects with explosive substances in film and television production facilities. You can do this in writing by post (in duplicate), fax or e-mail to [email protected]. • Your application will be checked. • You will receive a decision with specific details on the content and scope of the authorisation. If the authorisation is not granted, you will receive a rejection notice.
