Measures for developing foreign markets - Apply for funding for network-building projects

• Representation of a business-related institution based in Berlin You are a representative of a business-related institution (chambers, associations and industry networks) based in the State of Berlin that wishes to carry out the projects named above. • Project duration The project duration should be between 1 and 3 years. • Prohibition of cumulation Funding is not permitted if other public grants are received for the same funding purpose. • Time of application The project must not have been started before the application is submitted. • Special overall economic interest The network project must be of special overall economic interest to the State of Berlin. • Consultation A consultation with the responsible contact person at the Senatsverwaltung für Wirtschaft, Energie und Betriebe (Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises) is mandatory before submitting the application.

• PfI Netzwerk application form Application can be submitted online via the IBB (Investitionsbank Berlin). Alternatively, you can print out the fully completed and legally binding signed application form and send it together with all attachments by post to the IBB. • Project description Detailed project description including a justification of the application with regard to the special overall economic interest of the State of Berlin • Detailed work, schedule, cost and financing plan • Self-presentation of the applying institution including a presentation of the company's economic situation, if applicable the annual report • Current register extract from the commercial, cooperative, foundation or association register, or in the case of a business start-up, if applicable a copy of the register application • Signature specimen sheet • Identity card or passport with Meldebescheinigung (registration certificate) Copy of the identity card (front and back) or passport with registration certificate for all persons listed on the signature specimen sheet • PEP declaration Attachment: declaration of "Politically Exposed Person" (PEP) for all beneficial owners • Where applicable, declaration pursuant to § 3 para. 1 Leistungsgewährungsverordnung (LGV, Benefits Award Ordinance) The declaration pursuant to § 3 para. 1 Leistungsgewährungsverordnung (LGV) must be enclosed for grants of 25,000 euros or more (where only the share of state funds is relevant) and for grant recipients with more than 10 employees. • If there is no entitlement to input tax deduction: proof of this from the tax office
