• You are a recognized adult education institution (Einrichtung der Erwachsenenbildung) and continue to meet all requirements for recognition service.berlin.de/dienstleistung/350036/ Your institution • is a legal entity, • is non-profit, • has an administrative seat and an area of activity in Berlin, • carries out adult education tasks in accordance with § 2, • has offered adult education programs during the period since recognition was granted, • has employed staff for program development and program delivery, • employs teaching staff for its programs who are professionally qualified and qualified in the field of adult education, • makes its program publicly accessible, and • applies quality assurance instruments at regular intervals, whereby institutions with more than ten permanent employees should have a certified quality management system in place.

• Application for review of recognition status as an institution for adult education The review of recognition status is conducted exclusively via the online procedure. • Statute, partnership agreement, founding act (Errichtungsgesetz), or other evidence Depending on the legal form of your institution, suitable evidence is required. • Extract from the official register Depending on the legal form of your institution, current extracts from the official register must be provided. These can be, for example, extracts from the commercial register, register of associations, or foundation register, or similar evidence. Many register extracts can be retrieved free of charge online via the register portal of the federal states (see "Further information") • Proof of non-profit status (Gemeinnützigkeit) e.g. copy of the most recent exemption notice (Freistellungsbescheid) from your responsible tax office • Annual reports/activity reports/programme offerings Evidence for the period since the granting of recognition that your institution has offered adult education programmes and will continue to offer them in the future. • Anonymised staffing plan, if applicable Evidence of the professional qualification of staff.
