Fahrschulerlaubnis (driving school licence) - Apply for a branch office

• The required classroom, the required teaching materials, and the training vehicles designated for driving instruction in the relevant Fahrerlaubnisklasse (driving licence category) must be available. • It must be ensured that the holder of the Fahrschulerlaubnis (driving school licence) or the person appointed to be responsible for managing the training operation is able to meet their duties under § 29 FahrlG (Fahrlehrergesetz, Driving Instructor Act), regardless of the number or geographical distance of the branch offices (Zweigstellen) and regardless of the number of driving instructors. • No more than 10 branch offices (Zweigstellen) may be registered. For joint driving schools (Gemeinschaftsfahrschulen), this rule also applies to each partner (Gesellschafter).
