Architects' register and Urban Planners' register - apply for removal

• Waiver of entry by a member You may waive your entry in the Architekten- oder Stadtplanerliste (register of architects or urban planners) of the State of Berlin at any time. Please note that by doing so you also waive the rights associated with the entry. • Death of the member The entry in the Architektenliste (register of architects) or the Stadtplanerliste (register of urban planners) of the State of Berlin is to be deleted if the registered person has died. • No residence, no place of business, and no predominant place of work in the State of Berlin The entry in the Architektenliste or the Stadtplanerliste of the State of Berlin is to be deleted if the registered person is no longer resident, established, or professionally active in Berlin. • Finding that the requirements for entry are not met The entry in the Architektenliste or the Stadtplanerliste of the State of Berlin is to be deleted if it subsequently emerges that the requirements for entry were not met. • Decision by professional disciplinary proceedings The entry in the Architektenliste or the Stadtplanerliste of the State of Berlin is to be deleted if, in professional disciplinary proceedings, the deletion of the entry from the lists, registers, or directories has been decided with legal force. • For online applications: registration/login at the portal of the Architektenkammer Berlin (Berlin Chamber of Architects)

• Application for removal from the Architektenliste (register of architects) or Stadtplanerliste (register of urban planners) You can submit the application either online, or use the form and submit the application in writing by post. • Copy of the death certificate, if applicable If you, as a third party, are initiating the entry of a deceased member, you are asked to submit a copy of a death certificate.
