Apply for project and reading series funding for literature

Antragstellende (applicants) must have their primary residence (1. Wohnsitz) or main office in Berlin. The majority of project participants live (primary residence) and work in Berlin. • Applicant publishing houses (Verlage) (publication projects) must not have annual revenue exceeding €100,000 or more than three permanent employees. • Funding for literary journals is possible. • The application amount is limited to a maximum of €25,000 per year. • Anniversary events and other events that are predominantly internal to an association are excluded from funding. • Only one application per institution, group, individual, etc. is permitted per funding procedure. If the same applicant submits several applications, the most recently submitted one will be considered. Participation in several applied-for projects is possible. For umbrella institutions (Dachinstitutionen) with several houses/business units, one application is permitted per house/business unit. • The application, including the required attachments, must be completed and submitted in German. • Students are not eligible to apply; nor are projects involving students. • Only projects that have not yet begun can be funded. This wording refers only to the project currently applied for in the funding year, which is formally treated as a new project.
