Requirements

• Applications are possible from 03.06.2026 to 14.07.2026. The application deadline ends on 14.07.2026 at 2:00 p.m. Online applications must be received by 2:00 p.m. After 2:00 p.m. submission is no longer possible; transmissions already in progress will then be automatically cancelled. • The proposed projects must be developed and shown in Berlin, and must involve a majority of Berlin-based artists. The following formats are eligible to apply: • Series, sequences (Reihen, Serien) (a succession of at least three different events) • Festivals • Special programme focuses (e.g. anniversaries) • Natural persons and legal entities who have their primary residence/main office in Berlin and work professionally as artists or curators are eligible to apply. • The majority of the project participants live (primary residence) and work in Berlin. • The minimum fee thresholds (Honoraruntergrenzen) must be taken into account in the financing plan. • The funded projects must be developed and made visible in Berlin during the funding years. • Applicants may submit only one application. • No enrolment (Immatrikulation) as a student and no teaching activity as a professor at a university A grant (Zuwendung) cannot be made to persons who are enrolled as students during the funding period. Violations can lead to revocation of the funding.
