Apply for project funding for cooperation across religions and worldviews

• Applications are possible until 30.09.2026. • You are eligible to apply. • Eligible applicants are religious or philosophical communities (Religions- oder Weltanschauungsgemeinschaften) • Interfaith dialogue and understanding networks • and, in combination with these, civil society organizations. • Your statutes or rules of procedure contain a clear religious or philosophical creed • a clear religious or philosophical creed • or a description of the interfaith dialogue and understanding network • Funding area: The projects generally take place in Berlin. • The projects and their results show a clear connection to the State of Berlin, are visible in Berlin and have a lasting effect on the urban community. • The projects and their results should be publicly accessible. • Your project is oriented toward the common good • Only projects that are not intended to generate profit but are oriented toward the common good can generally be funded. • A condition for funding is compliance with the principles of the free democratic basic order (freiheitlich-demokratische Grundordnung). • The minimum funding amount is 30,000 euros and is limited to a maximum of 100,000 euros per project and per budget year. Exceptions are explained in the information sheet. • Own funds amounting to at least 10% of total expenditure must be contributed. • Prohibition of double funding Projects that would replace existing services or measures already implemented or publicly funded cannot be funded. • The project has not yet started Only projects that have not yet started can be funded. • Registration in the Transparenzdatenbank (transparency database) of the State of Berlin transparenzdatenbank.berlin.de/ A condition for granting funding to legal entities is registration in the Transparenzdatenbank and the publication of certain information there.
